A pressing need ASP has for spring 2026 is to help finish the construction of our new Appalachian Highlands Volunteer and Training Center. This will serve as a year-round volunteer center where volunteers can come to sleep, eat and enjoy fellowship while serving in the local East TN community on home repair, new build or disaster recovery projects. It's an exciting time for ASP to have this new volunteer training center and we welcome your service to help finish the construction. Potential projects include but are not limited to: painting, caulking, cleaning, assembling bunk beds, landscaping, and other punch-list projects as we near building completion by early April.

The Tri-Cities of Kingsport, Johnson City and Bristol have many of the same economic problems as Appalachia's more remote areas. If you live in this region, you don't have to travel far to find a great need for home repair, compassion, and the sharing of God's love. ASP's East Tennessee Hub seeks to connect you with this need within your own community. All families served by our volunteers fall below the poverty line and are faced with difficult choices daily. Even the most vital home repairs fall to the wayside when families are forced to choose life's necessities over warmer, safer, and drier living conditions. We need your help to reach out to these families with home repair services and a welcoming heart. If you live in the Tri-Cities, here is your chance to make a tangible difference right here in your own community.

• Complete Previous Involvement page. Upper section if returning. Lower section if new; Then click NEXT
• If new, create your user name and password , then click NEXT
• Enter personal contact information, then CREATE ACCOUNT
• Reserve space for your group - indicate your team size, then CREATE NEW GROUP
• Enter your group information and follow remaining steps to completion.
• Group Code is assigned.
• Receive email confirmation with Group Code, User id, and Password
• Provide Group Code to all team members
